Insight into Competition at the Beginning of the Customer Journey

The Customer Journey starts at ‘Flights to…’

Radar behaves like an in-market shopper looking for flights. It geo-locates in your key markets and executes searches like ‘flights to london’ or ‘business class to new york’. The prices it sees are logged and, scored, and made available through our intuitive dashboard.

Radar reads and stores these elements in multiple languages:

  • Price of flight

  • Flight time

  • One-way / return

  • Covid Messaging

  • Sale messaging

Machine Learning Makes ‘Apples to Oranges’ Datasets Usable

AI that reads ads as you do, and knows when a price is not a price.

Adverts aren’t written to be excellent data sources. xCheck has built a proprietary Natural Language Processing model that enables us to distinguish the nuances of ad copy, for example:

  • Understanding that ‘$89’ is probably a one-way fare.

  • Recognizing prices that are really for ancillaries.

  • Scoring the likelihood that an advertised price exists for booking, so you don’t waste time chasing outliers.

Inform Tactical Action to Keep you Competitive and Maximize Budget

Usable data makes for better decisions.

  • Use this data to inform the minimum and maximum price on your ads. Switch to non-price messaging when you aren’t competitive.

  • Spot opportunities where your price has an opportunity to win, and move marketing dollars appropriately.

  • Better collaboration between Marketing and RM on tactical activities. Up to the minute information on if you need to discount, or if you have room to increase yield.

  • Data Feeds for Pricing Intelligence. Incorporate into your existing intelligence platforms to help inform pricing actions.
